For a private-tour availability request: name, e-mail address, optional WhatsApp number, date, time, number of participants, preferred language, duration, photo option and optional message.

For a direct purchase or ticket access: information required for the reservation, payment, route access and customer support.

When contacting us: message content and details voluntarily submitted.

Technical information strictly necessary for the operation and security of the service may also be processed.

Purposes of processing

To answer availability requests and visitor questions.

To allow the purchase of an audio guide and access to the reserved route.

To allow the use of a ticket purchased directly or received from a partner platform.

To provide support when a ticket issue occurs.

To prevent abuse and maintain the proper functioning of the service.

Legal bases

Information required for a request, reservation or purchase is processed in order to answer your request, prepare the service or perform the contract.

Certain information may also be retained in order to comply with applicable legal obligations or protect the service against abuse.

Recipients and service providers

Information is used by Walking Happy Tour and by service providers strictly necessary for the operation of the service.

Private-tour requests are transmitted using a server-side e-mail delivery service.

When online payments are enabled, payments will be processed by Stripe. Walking Happy Tour is not intended to retain the customer’s complete bank-card details.

Retention periods

Contact and availability requests are retained for the period necessary to process them and follow up the relationship with the visitor, and are then deleted when they are no longer useful, unless a legal obligation applies or evidence must be retained in the event of a dispute.

Order-related information is retained for the periods necessary to provide the service and comply with applicable accounting and tax obligations.

You may request access to, rectification or erasure of your information and exercise the other rights provided by the applicable data-protection rules.

The current version of the website does not use advertising cookies or non-essential tracking technologies.
